Shanghai, China, March 24, 2026 — On the opening day of the 2026 China International Hardware Fair (CIHF), BAK Battery showcased its latest advancements and strategic roadmap in all-tab cylindrical cell technology under the theme “Empowering Every Professional Tool.” From material innovation to structural breakthroughs, and from individual products to a comprehensive matrix, BAK is redefining the power standards for professional-grade tools with its leading all-tab technology.
As a pioneer in all-tab technology in China, BAK Battery has accumulated over four years of R&D experience, establishing a complete technological moat covering material systems, cell structure, and manufacturing processes. The all-tab 2170-50D2 cell showcased at the exhibition represents the culmination of this technological expertise.
The product pioneers the application of solid-state electrolyte coating technology, effectively suppressing side reactions between cathode materials and electrolyte, thereby enhancing intrinsic safety at the source. Combined with BAK’s proprietary all-tab structural design, the electron transport path is significantly shortened, reducing internal resistance to below 5mΩ and achieving an optimal balance between high energy density and high power output.
