Their amplifier required a higher voltage (typically 7-9V) to produce clean, undistorted sound at higher volumes without a bulky internal boost circuit. The main constraint was extremely limited internal space, demanding a battery with high energy density and a sleek, stackable profile that wouldn't compromise the speaker's acoustic design or portability.

Our 7.4V 1450mAh Li-Polymer Battery provided the ideal power foundation for high-quality audio amplification.
Direct-Drive Amplifier Compatibility: The 7.4V output closely matched the optimal input voltage for the Class-D amplifier, maximizing efficiency and minimizing power loss as heat. This directly contributed to cleaner sound reproduction, especially at higher volumes.
